Pac Bo Historical Site Named National Relic
A solemn ceremony for the naming of Pac Bo historical site as a National Historical Relic will be held in Cao Bang province.
This event concurred with the tourism programme called “Going past northwest heritages” and the founding celebration of Cao Bang City – the capital of Cao Bang province. The events are scheduled to take place from October 3 to 8, 2012.
An incorporated cultural, sport and tourism week, slated for October 5-8, will portray the land and people in the past and at the present time in the northwest region and in Cao Bang province. An arts exchange programme will be performed by six northwest provinces, the Northwest Folk Music Theatre, and Baise Arts Company from Baise City, Guangxi province (China). Sports events like tennis tournaments and folk games will be organised on October 8.
The Cao Bang international tourism and trade fair 2012 with 250 booths and a job bazaar with 20 booths will be held during the event at Cao Bang Stadium.
In addition, on the closing evening the organising board will display fireworks in two separate locations, namely the Central Cultural House and De Tham New Urban Zone. Central and provincial leaders will plant trees of honour of Pac Bo historical site on October 7, 2012.
